Half Moon Bay

After 8 years together, 2 years engaged, the pandemic forced us to push wedding plans back over and over again. Waiting for a time when our families and friends could all be in the same place. We weren’t fully sold on a conventional wedding but with the move to Korea around the corner and Visa complications, we couldn’t wait for the perfect time. So Lauren and myself, Bella (our dog), our celebrant, my friend Aleks (photographer), our families on FaceTime, and a random stranger walking passed we recruited to be our third witness, all headed down to the Half Moon Bay in Melbourne on New Years day and officially got married. It wasn’t conventional (nothing we do ever is) but for us it was perfect.
