Spending the majority of the year away from my family back in the US sucks. With my parents in LA, my sister in NY, my Brother in Nashville, and my wife’s family in Austin, this usually means during my offseason Lauren and I make the trip back to see them. I’ve learned over the years of doing this, to take photos of all of these moments so I can go back any time and look at them when I’m away from them all. And being someone who doesn’t like having their picture taken, I’m much more comfortable with the camera in my hands. This trip was mostly spent in California, with a house full of family, and their respective dogs.
